David is the founder and CEO of 3Pillar Global, an integrated solutions provider that specializes in building digital products for Media, Information and Technology companies. Under David’s leadership, 3Pillar has grown to nearly 1000 employees and been named one of the country’s fastest growing companies in 7 of the 9 past years by the Inc. 500|5000. At any given time 3Pillar has over 100 teams building over 150 digital products for household brands like PBS, NPR and CARFAX.
David is a prolific communicator. He is the Author of “The Product Mindset, Succeed in the Digital Economy by Changing the Way Your Organization Thinks“, which is due out in September of 2018 and has been featured in Fortune, Forbes, and Inc. among others. He is a frequent keynote speaker at, frequently presenting at national industry and technology conferences.
David is passionate about digital innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership. He blogs about these passions at daviddewolf.com. He is an active member of the business and technology communities in Northern Virginia, a member of YPO and a graduate of Mindshare, an invite-only CEO forum of the D.C. area’s most promising technology companies. He serves as the Chairman of InGo and is a member of the Board of Directors of OneHQ. He is an active angel investor and enjoys mentoring entrepreneurial leaders and advising philanthropic organizations. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Franciscan University of Steubenville.
Prior to founding 3Pillar David held multiple technology leadership positions, was an active member of the Apache Software Foundation and a popular speaker at various technology conferences. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Franciscan University of Steubenville.
David and his wife Teresa have seven children – four girls and three boys. He is an avid sports fan and can often be found on, or, at, a baseball diamond.
